Features: Charming old architecture on a beautifully landscaped campus. Use is limited to certain areas, but those areas are great.
Permit: $130 (HST included)/hour for non-alumni / 50% discount for university staff, students and alumni (bride and/or groom).

Casa Loma

Location: 1 Austin Terrace (near Bathurst and Dupont)
Features: This famous castle provides a spectacular setting. Access to the conservatory, terrace and gardens are all available.
Permit: $300.00 from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and $450.00 from 12 noon - 2:30 p.m., and the areas that you would have access to are the Conservatory, the front of the Castle and, depending on the time of the year, the Terrace, and Gardens.

Bluffs stretch for about 14km along the Lake Ontario shore, from the Eastern Beaches of Toronto in the west, to West Hill in the east. The Scarborough Bluffs are a significant geological feature resulting from the accumulation of sedimentary deposits over 12,000 years ago. They were formed by the natural processes of wind and water erosion from Lake Ontario.

Rouge Beach Park is located at the mouth of the Rouge River. The Rouge River and its main tributary, Little Rouge Creek, flow through an area that remains largely undeveloped. Red clay in the river’s banks give the water a distinct colour as it flows towards Lake Ontario and hence its name given by early eighteenth century explorers.

Located along the shores of Lake Ontario in Toronto’s west end, the Humber Bay Butterfly Habitat incorporates a diversity of native wildflowers, shrubs, trees, grasses, sedges and a variety of physical features known to support butterflies throughout all life cycles.

Toronto Parks, Forestry & Recreation offers many beautiful outdoor parks and indoor facilities available for your stand-up wedding ceremony. Accompnay your ceremony with a live non-amplified trio or soft taped music and benefit from the natural decoration offered by the park.

The City of Toronto has many beautiful sites for wedding ceremonies and photography, including indoor conservatories and outdoor gardens.

  • Application Start Date: Apply for your 2011 wedding permit beginning November 1st, 2010.
  • Permit Season: April 30th to October 30th

How to apply for a permit

To obtain a permit or get further information on rates and availability, call 416-392-8188 and press 1, Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm. Payment by VISA, Mastercard or American Express is accepted over the phone. You can also book your permit and pay by cash or certified check in person by visiting your local permit office.
